Carnegie Library-East Liberty Renovations

Specifed Systems has helped Rycon Construction of Pittsburgh close up the newly renovated Carnegie Library in East Liberty. With about 90% of the glazing work completed Specified will begin to put the finishing touches on completing the outside part of the building.

Traco's Curtainwall and Storefront systems were erected in all of the locations shown above. PPG Solexia Tint, Azuria Tint and Solarban 60 low e glass were all used to help the performance and aesthetics of the building.

BAKERY SQUARE

Specified Systems works with local contractor PJ Dick at Bakery Square in Downtown Pittsburgh. The project is ongoing with several tenants moving into the new spaces created. Above are several photo's taken of the exterior work completed at Building 1, 3, and The Marriott.

SPECIFIED SYSTEMS NEARS PROJECT COMPLETION

Specified Systems helps Continental Building Systems meet deadline at Pennwood Commons project in Cranberry Township, PA. Specified Systems installed approximately 6,800 square feet of Tubelite clear anodized storefront material. Glazing included PPG Solarban 60 Low E glazing.

With construction near end the new owners of the building will be moving in at the beginning of next month.

SOUTH HILLS RETIREMENT RESIDENCE

Along side Sota Construction Services we have helped to convert this old high school into a future retirement residence for many local people. Specified Systems has been on site for several month's installing over 400 of Traco's new NX 3500 and 3800 series products.
In the most recent stages of the project Specified Systems has helped to meet deadlines for the northern most elevation of the building in completing a US Aluminum Curtain Wall installation. This curtain wall is unique in design because of the 1-1/4" high performing glazing installed into the system.
As the project progresses we look to continue to meet the deadlines of the project by moving to the courtyard and other wings of the building.
